Two girls: a 12-year-old American and an 18-year old French warrior. Two men: Humbert Humbert, put on trial for murder, and a theologian who brought a warrior girl to court.

The play offers a new look at the relationship of men and women, justice and love. Do women need
“armor” to survive in the male world? In the new play by Yehezkel Lazarov, Nabokov’s sensational novel Lolita (1955) is combined with the blood-drenched protocols of the Inquisition process of Joan of Arc (1431), the Maid of Orleans, the French national heroine.
