Gesher`s Festivals

More than decade ago, we established the tradition of international festivals of Gesher theatre in order to introduce the local public to the best works of modern culture, - in theater, film and music.
For us this is a real bridge – a cultural connection between Russia and Israel, a great opportunity for strengthening our artistic links and international exchange.

 

1st Gesher International Festival, 2008 - "Crescendo"
National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, Big Band orchestra conducted by Georgy Garnyan.

2nd Gesher International Film Festival "Russian Cinema" 2009
Retrospective of award winners of the Russian Film Festival "Kinotaur".

3d Gesher International Festival "St. Petersburg Theatrical Seasons" 2010
Winners of the Golden Mask and Golden Lantern Theatre Awards - Lensovet Theatre, Priut Comedianta Theatre, Takoy Theatre, Komissarezhevsky Theatre.

4th Gesher International Festival - "Golden Mask" in Israel 2011

"Uncle Vanya" - Vakhtangov Theatre, Moscow, "Family Happiness" and "Thunderstorm" - Drama Theatre, Magnitogorsk, "Rothschild Violin" - Young Scout Theatre, Moscow.

6th Gesher International Festival "Russian Film Week in Israel" 2012
At the festival were shown films, award winners of the Russian Film Festival "Kinotaur",2012.

7th Gesher International Festival 2013
"Baggage Packers," "The Price" - Mayakovsky Theater, Moscow, "Come In, Come In" by Meir Shalev - Fomenko Theater, Moscow.

The 9th Gesher International Festival "Golden Mask" 2014
"Evgeny Onegin" - Vakhtangov Theater, Moscow, "Wolves and Sheep" - Fomenko Theater, Moscow, and "Untitled" Volkov Theater, Yaroslavl.

10th Gesher International Festival "Golden Mask" 2015
"Berdichev" - Mayakovsky Theatre, Moscow, "Smile at Us, God" - Vakhtangov Theatre, Moscow.

11th Gesher International Festival 2016
"Russian Romance" - Mayakovsky Theater, Moscow.

Russian Film Days 2016
The festival featured films that were screened at the 2016 Russian Film Festival "Kinotaur".

 

Gesher International Festival 2017
Vachtangov Theatre with its play "Oedipus Rex" and the Theatre of Nations with "Hamlet | Collage"
In addition, for the first time, the festival expanded to different areas of Jaffa and combined street performances, special weekends for children, tours, and more.

Russian Film Days 2018
The festival presented award winning films screened at the 2018 Russian Film Festival Kinotaur.
