Adapted and directed by Alexander Molochnikov

A theatrical production of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment", directed by Alexander Molochnikov—known for his original and bold directorial decisions— immerses viewers in a realm of cabaret, carnival, and the grotesque, where the familiar characters’ voices gain an entirely fresh and surprising resonance.

Fyodor Dostoevsky, an unmatched master of the psychological thriller, invites us into the intricate labyrinth of the human unconscious. In his novel "Crime and Punishment," he explores the depths of a transgressor's soul. Along with the main character, Rodion Raskolnikov, we traverse a long path from crime to punishment, enveloping ourselves in his internal torments and moral dilemmas. Dostoevsky masterfully combines elements of detective fiction and philosophical prose, creating a multi-layered narrative that makes us contemplate the nature of evil and the possibility of redemption.
